Dr. Edward Nasigrie Mahama
Medical Director
Dr. Edward Nasigrie Mahama was trained at the Ghana Medical School. Dr. Mahama specializes in Obstetrics and Gynaecology in the U.S.A and he’s certified by the American Board of Obstetrics and Gynaecology.
He was elected a Fellow of the American College Of Obstetricians and Gynaecologists and also an elected Fellow of the West African College of Surgeons.
He practiced in Chicago for Ten years and was a lecturer at the North Western University.
Dr. Laud K. O. Kassim
Medical Officer
Dr. Laud K. O. Kassim is a Medical Officer with over a decade worth of experience in clinical medicine, healthcare management and public health. He currently serves as the Head of Medical Services Team of GLICO Healthcare LTD, a leading private health insurance company in Ghana.
Laud had previously served as the Deputy Medical Director of Superior Medical Centre, a private not-for-profit hospital in Accra from 2017 to 2021 and had been instrumental in the growth of the Centre into a public-serving and client-friendly hospital.
Dr Kassim’s interests are in healthcare management, public health and healthcare financing.
Laud enjoys clinical consultations with clients as well and believes in universal healthcare for all by advocating for everyone to have access to good health insurance to avoid out-of-pocket payments during ill-health which can lead to catastrophic expenditures.
Previously, he had worked at 37 Military Hospital in Accra, Eastern Regional Hospital in Koforidua as well as part-time consulted at the Ghana Post Clinic, Accra.
Laud is a Baptist but currently serving as a Deacon at Christian Outreach Complex, a non-denominational church located at Ampomah Estates, Adenta. He also serves as the medical team leader for the church’s Outreach wing.
Laud holds a BSc from the University of Ghana, an MBChB degree from the University of Ghana Medical School and an MPH from the University of Chester in the Northwest of England.
Laud still loves clinical medicine, hence consults with patients at Superior Medical Centre on Saturdays. He also believes in making the hospital a medical centre of excellence where Ghanaian doctors abroad can come and work on long or short-term basis as they offer their expertise to the local people in line with the vision of Superior Medical Centre.
Prior to joining Superior Medical Centre, Laud worked at the 37 Military Hospital in Accra and the Eastern Regional Hospital in Koforidua. He also serves as the medical team leader for Christian Outreach Complex, an NGO based in Accra.
Laud holds a medical degree from the University of Ghana Medical School and a Master of Public Health degree from Chester University in the UK.
Madam Janet Asana Nabla

Meet Janet Asana Nabla, the Health Administrator at Superior Medical Centre. In her role, she supervises healthcare operations, handles administrative tasks, ensures regulatory compliance, and advocates for the overall well-being of our healthcare facility.
Janet holds a Master’s Degree in Health Service Management from the University of Ghana Legon and a Bachelor’s Degree in Integrated Development Studies from the University of Development Studies.
She is committed to enhancing healthcare delivery, creating a healthy environment, and streamlining administrative processes for the well-being of all.
